CATCH MUSIC DENMARK

Dear members,

The Catch Music Board has decided to pause the Denmark session for Term 3 while it conducts an assessment of the session's viability and potential improvements that might be made to enhance the session and attract more regular participants.

Relatively low participation means the session has been struggling financially. The Board has developed a SURVEY QUESTIONNAIRE to obtain your feedback on the session and how it might be improved, while working with Music Facilitator, Matthew Eastwell, to further consider the options for moving forward with the session.

Many thanks to all those that have participated in our workshops, showcases, and sessions over the last three years. It has been wonderful to extend our inclusive program beyond Perth/Boorloo. During my visits, I always found the energy at the sessions very inspiring. I also would like to gratefully acknowledge Matthew Eastwell's unwavering commitment and passion for this project.

FAR & BEYOND

Catch Music presents FAR & BEYOND a showcase of new songs by the SUBIACO and WARWICK sessions. Join us at the Shenton Park Community Centre for an afternoon of stories, music, and inclusion. With special guest, Rachel Hull. * 4pm-6pm, Saturday 9 August Shenton Park Community Centre, 240 Onslow Rd, Shenton Park Entry by donation (Suggested amount $10) Venue is wheelchair accessible * Rachel has been writing stories for as long as they can remember. Rachel is a disabled singer/songwriter, advocate, visual artist, poet and teacher from Boorloo. They write heartfelt songs centred around nature and self-expression with themes such as courage and resilience, navigating grief, identity and a love for the world around us, and are inspired by musicians like Birdy and Billie Marten. Rachel recently graduated from WAAPA and is currently recording their first album. They are excited to share some of these songs with you for this concert. * This event is proudly sponsored by the City of Subiaco.
